Somatics: A 3-Part Workshop
This is a series of three workshops on October 2, 9 and 16. (Note: When you sign up, you’re signing up for all THREE sessions.)
Somatics are basic, gentle, simple movements that focus on “how” you are moving. By utilizing simple movements, our brain has a chance to focus on what is actually happening with the muscles and joints in a movement, which allows the brain to make changes on a neurological level. This means that you can leave each session having made noticeable functional changes in your body that will stay with you. The more we move – in alignment with what our systems need – the more our bodies can heal. After completing this workshop, you will have learned a series of simple movements that you can practice daily to help you out of pain and moving into what you enjoy!
