A Musical Journey with Violinist Mary Beth Ions at Brook Park
Join us at Spry Senior to hear Mary Beth Ions for a musical journey with her violin. She plays everything from Beethoven to Beatles, Broadway and beyond. She is equally at ease playing country fiddle, Classical concertos, Gershwin, Sinatra, Coldplay, Tony Bennett and Adele! She has played at Severance Hall with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra pit, many other venues, and has provided back-up music for a wide variety of performers such as Andrea Bocelli, Rod Steward, Josh Groban, Barry Manilow, Smokey Robinson, and Mannheim Steamroller. She is a great believer in the power of music to heal and inspire, is dedicated to the mission of bringing live music up close and personal to those who might not otherwise experience it, and loves to play requests from the audience. She is even known to play name that tune if the audience requests it. Light snacks will be available.
